Production Schedule

Goals: Get at least five videos prepared for the installation and have a working Max patch. Get the WiiMote to play nicely.

April 1   Class
April 2     Collect and create videos for the projection  
April 3     Collect and create videos for the projection  
April 4   Work on Max patch
April 5   Max session with Dana & Luke
April 6   Work on Max patch
April 7   Work on Max patch

Goals: Figure out backup plan in case Max patch does not work. Have at least 15 videos prepared.

April 9   Collect and create videos for the projection
April 10   Collect and create videos for the projection
April 11   Collect and create videos for the projection
April 12   Explore Max and marker-based tracking
April 13       Create prototype for augmented reality fishing rod  
April 14   Work on AR prototype

Goals: Determine which methods work best for the installation. Have a fully functioning demo by the end, including some prizes.

April 19   Collect rewards (both physical and virtual)
April 20   Collect rewards (both physical and virtual)
April 21     Prototype demos with user testing and feedback  

Goals: Collect ALL prizes and acquire a performer for the installation. Refine the project.

April 22   Class

April 25   Ensure the fishing line works correctly
April 26   Setup and create labels for booth
April 27   Seek a performer for the installation
April 28   Run another demo with user testing

Goals: Kink out any bugs and have the project completely developed, ready to go.

April 29   Class
April 30   Fix any inconsistencies and errors.
May 1   Fix any inconsistencies and errors.
May 2   Fix any inconsistencies and errors.
May 3   Test run
May 4   Fix up any errors from test run
May 5     Install for presentation on the final class  

Goals: Go fish.

May 6     FINAL  

Project Development

This week focused on getting the videos ready for the performance. Mark Skwarek suggested using augmented reality
and a tracker in Max in case the WiiMote idea does not work. Here are some screenshots of the videos to be presented.
