Rosalina's Adventure is a 2D sidescroller video game where Rosalina, a popular character from Nintendo's Super Mario series, traverses through a treacherous hallway filled with darkness and strange idiosyncrasies. It was created for the Media Law class at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering's Integrated Digital Media program. The game is designed to question the legality of fan-made video games and determine if it is legally acceptable to reuse game maker's content to produce new video games. Rosalina's Adventure uses 3D models, music, sound effects, and sprites from various Nintendo games, including Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. The game was created in Unity 3D and is intended for educational purposes.

A mockup of how the game would appear in the Steam store. It will not actually be released on Steam, sorry.

A Jacques Lacan quote? In a video game? Why not?
