The house serves as an example of what each home in our proposed neighborhood has to offer. It is primarily powered by electric micro-turbines,
which run on natural gas. Solar panels on the roof serve as another source of electricity. The home utilizes a number of energy saving practices,
including the following: excellent insulation, double-paned and high-efficiency rated windows, LED and fluorescent lighting, water efficient bathrooms,
energy-saving appliances and boiler, and roofing materials designed to reflect solar energy and re-emit heat.
